Leg waxing is a temporary method of removing unwanted hair grown on the legs. This hair removal method intends at uplifting the hair right from their roots. Until recently, leg waxing was traditionally a hair removing method adopted by women only. The strip pulls along the hair strands along with the wax.  The second method makes use of pre-made strips containing cold wax. These strips are applied on the hairy regions, like legs, and rubbed over for a moment. This helps the hair to adhere to the strip properly so that they get removed once the strip is pulled out. The reason why people prefer the cold wax method over the hot wax method is that the former is less messy and tolerable in comparison to the second method. 

However, it is important to note that waxing leaves certain after effects on the skin. These after effects, like redness or soreness are minor and temporary in nature and thus can be relieved with the application of a non-perfumed astringent or a moisturizer on the treated region. Further, some specialists also recommend the usage of special creams laden with nutritional supplements like Aloe Vera, vitamins to heal the treated skin soon.  Once either of the above pacifying agents is applied, the after effects disappear on their own.
